Jim does pretty well when it comes to first aid in emergency situations, but it's better to have someone else examine him right now, especially when that someone is Bones. He'll know better than anyone if anything is wrong with him.

"One to ten-- four," he winces, the muscles tensing, but no more than that. He doesn't even try lying to Bones about it, it does hurt a bit, but the pain isn't blinding.
