Helping her up, Gansey made a thoughtful sound as he considered the question. "I don't know. My experiences with traveling through time were more subtle than that." Usually he'd stepped from one season - he assumed it was just one season and not dozens or hundreds - to another. "But there were only four of us." Sometimes five but Gansey never knew if Noah moved through Cabeswater the way the rest of them did.

"Something as large as a ship might require more powerful methods." It probably wasn't magic, but it seemed to be as much of a wonder as moving from one season to another while stepping over a stone.
