TDM #1
ARRIVAL TDM Exploration |
You're barely given any time to tell anyone about the lottery you've just won or say any goodbyes before it's 1800 hours and the transport pod is waiting there for you to take you to the SS Hygge. True to the message you received, once you enter the transport pod you start to feel very drowsy very rapidly, and you don't come to again until you feel the transport pod bump against one of many landing docks and hear it clip in. The transport pod opens once the airtight seal has molded itself around its door, and lights guide you down a corridor to what looks like a hotel lobby, complete with friendly receptionists waiting behind a counter to greet you. Upon giving your name you will be given a room key and informed that a bottle of champagne (soft drink/juice for minors) is waiting for you in your room. In your room you will find a communications device that you are to strap onto your wrist (or any other appropriate limb) and keep with you at all times. The Captain can communicate with you through the device, and it allows you to keep track of the ship time. While you are checking in, you will be asked to make an appointment with a tailor tonight, who will be by your room to take your measurements so that you can be suitably clothed for the welcome dinner tomorrow, and for any other adventures the ship goes on. When you get to your room, you'll find it's a fairly small cabin with an ensuite bathroom. There's a TV mounted on the wall at the foot of a double bed. On top of the bedside drawer is the smartwatch-resembling comms device that the receptionist was talking about. Its charger is in the drawer. While there are no windows, there is a screen that cycles through various scenery. The nature scenery might have occasional birdsong or quiet sounds of a distant waterfall. The galactic one is magnificent but silent. You can program what's displayed from your comms device. From your comms device you can also request for some white noise to help you sleep, or adjust the room's temperature. As soon as you put it on, you will feel a little prick in your wrist/appendage as it releases nanites into your body. This allows you to communicate with other passengers speaking different languages on board the ship, and it also allows the Captain to keep track of you in case you get lost. It remembers all your preferences, and it functions like a smartwatch, allowing you to contact other passengers as well as Reception, take photos, record videos and do video calls. There is a wardrobe next to the TV that currently only holds a bathrobe and some sleepwear that's of a slightly larger fit for you, to make it more comfortable to sleep in. Don't worry - there'll be more clothes to go into the wardrobe tomorrow when the tailor is ready. Though there is a map of the ship loaded into your comms device, you are left to explore its facilities on your own. Or why not make a friend with another solo arrival and explore together? You may not want to jump into the pool until the tailor has provided you with fitting swimming attire, but maybe a massage at the Golden Palm might interest you after that cramped ride in the transport pod? The Great Escape offers a great many virtual reality experiences that you can enjoy. And of course, if you're hungry, why not hit up some of the restaurants? All facilities are within walking distance of each other, on the main deck at the top floor. You don't have to go straight to your room if you're not tired. |
WELCOME DINNER TDM Mingle |
Hopefully you had a well-rested first night on board the Hygge. Maybe you didn't - maybe you were partying all night. Or maybe you've made a new friend and never quite managed to make it back to your own room. Either way, the tailor will come by your room in the early afternoon to drop off three boxes of clothes tailor-made to suit your body and style. The small box contains some plain underwear and activewear/swimwear for use in the ship's gym/pool respectively. There is also a hand towel with your name embroidered on it, for use at the gym or anywhere else where towels might get mixed up. The large box contains three everyday outfits for your character to wear. You only arrived with the clothes on your back after all - you'll need something to change into. Finally, the medium box contains formal attire for tonight's welcome dinner, held at Umami from 1900 hours ship time. You haven't forgotten about the welcome dinner that Reception mentioned yesterday, have you? It might be awkward to show up late. It is not expected that all the ship's passengers will be in one restaurant at the same time, so unfortunately there aren't enough tables for all solo guests to sit at their own table. If you arrive late you may need to join someone else who's already seated. Come on, it wouldn't kill you to make conversation with your dinner partner for the night, would it? If you're feeling ridiculous in your cocktail dress or stuffy three piece suit, who's to say your dinner partner can't commiserate? Maybe you're from the same place, or share a few same interests. The rest of the dinner will go a lot more smoothly if you happen to get along with your dinner companion(s). After the lavish twelve course dinner, there will be a song and dance performance by some of the ship's crew. The DJ will take over from 2200 hours ship time and play music that is suspiciously suitable to dance to. How about topping the night off with a few fancy moves or a slow dance on the floor? |
DEFYING GRAVITY TDM Event |
It's the fourth night you are spending on board the ship. The current ship time is 0517. Many guests are asleep. Some are still partying it up at Starlight, some are hunched over the jackpot machines. Some people are still convincing themselves they don't have a drinking problem, chins in their palms as they turn stirrers in lazy circles in their almost-empty tumblers. Some might be in the library cafe in the middle of a good book. It happens without warning. One moment you're doing whatever it is you're doing. The next, there's a barely noticeable rumble, and then you're floating. You and everyone else around you and everything else as far as your eyes can see that isn't bolted down to the ship. Sound travels slowly in space. The screaming and the sound of things breaking - they come moments after the weightlessness pushes you away from the ground. Or maybe that's just you, in the thick of the confusion, trying to figure out what's happening and trying to make sense of the chaos that's starting to unfold in front of your eyes. Staff that are clearly distressed attempt to swim-float around and tell passengers to remain calm. Some staff have big, clunky, magnetised boots that allow them to walk along the ship's floor, but they seem to be engineering personnel rushing off somewhere and they're not stopping for hospitality staff or guests. If you are loitering near the lobby where you had first arrived, Hygge staff may ask you to work as quickly as you can launching the transport pods you arrived in back off the ship. If you are in your room and try to make your way to the front door, you will find it is unlocked, and you will notice a lot of confused heads poking out into the corridor. Hopefully you weren't in the pool, because that's now a nebulous floating blob of water that is threatening to suffocate you. Nobody seems to have any accurate information about what the hell's going on and the flurry of activity continues for a good forty minutes, maybe more, before a crisp, clear voice can be heard booming throughout the ship. |
CAPTAIN'S BROADCAST June Event Sneak Preview |
“Good morning, esteemed guests. This is your Captain speaking. At this time I ask you all to please remain calm, hold on to a fixed part of the ship, and follow the instructions of all crew. At approximately 0442 hours ship time, a series of supernovae approximately 312,659 light years away occurred in rapid succession and triggered a cataclysmic chain reaction across the universe. We have lost communications with all nearby star systems. The devastating effects on individual galaxies is currently not known. As a direct result of this chain reaction, the ship was hit by large debris from a nearby implosion and the hull was breached. Several fuel cells have been irreversibly damaged in the breach and a fire has broken out on the lower deck due to leaking oxygen stores, rendering several cabins uninhabitable. In addition, the gravity drive has experienced a catastrophic failure. This resulted in water from the pool flooding the engine room, causing the engine to malfunction and compromising the navigational system. Finally, several critical components of the engine have been jettisoned due to conflicting emergency protocols and these have been scattered throughout time and space. The transport pods have been deployed on their previous command loop in an effort to locate any other survivors and bring them on board. However, there will be insufficient fuel and oxygen for the ship to wait here for the transport pods to return. We must restore the oxygen supply and repair the engine before we can bring additional passengers on board. Our first course of action is to retrieve the energy crystal which will restore full operational power back to the engine. We have traced its unique energy signature to the American frontier, in the year 1862. Our data suggests that the crystal is on board a locomotive transport. Despite the abrupt alteration in the timeline, word has already spread of a valuable jewel being transported across the country. We must board a moving train to retrieve the crystal and bring it back to the ship before it is hijacked by bandits. We have redirected all remaining backup power to the ship’s engine. In doing so we will have enough fuel to initiate one perfectly executed jump sequence to intercept the train. The gravity drive cannot be brought back online if we are to make this jump, so please, hold on tight. I will be initiating the jump sequence through hyperspace into the Wild West in 3… 2… 1.” |

10th Doctor | Doctor Who
Why someone is certainly having a wild night! Wine is good and is casually flirting to male or female passengers. Whether or not he's truly drunk is up for debate; though his tie is around his head.
Otherwise - is actively on the dance floor and can't free dance to save his life (it also may be some alien dance moves who knows!) but having fun none-the-less.
Defying Gravity
This means - adventure! And despite being told to not swim walk - does anyway. He wasn't surprised with the floating and thought it was part of the party - least till it lasted too long and what are those strange creatures floating with everyone else? Maybe they're the one's that caused this?
Captain's Broadcast
That's going to be a lot of black holes popping up as well soon. Wait - 1862? Wait are you saying that this ship can time travel? And more importantly, was it the Captain that built the ship or who?
Nonetheless- sounds like an adventure!
Expect when someone gets there - blending in with 1862 isn't something The Doctor thinks about. He's still wearing his blue pinstripe with red sandshoes in the American West and got a NPC of 'you ain't from around here, are you?'
Which cues the psychic paper to show he's sheriff from whatever another place the NPC is familiar with.
He can't say he enjoys the American West and solving problems with guns.

Togusa | Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
There were a lot of pieces of information in the note that Togusa hadn't quite understood, but after everything he'd been through for the last month (and then even more beforehand)? The man could use a vacation. A real one.
Too bad it's not quite the kind of luxury liner Togusa was imagining.
Togusa is the utmost picture of politeness to the staff, going along with everything as if this was what he had expected, while inwardly panicking. It's when he gets a second to catch his breath that he seeks out another passenger.
"Ah- excuse me," the young Japanese man is able to get some of the culture shock off of his face, and comport himself into a friendly smile. "I'm really sorry, but this is my first time on.. one of these." Say spaceship, Togusa. It's okay. Space. Ship.
Defying Gravity:
Right at the moment that Togusa thought he was getting his bearings about the place, this happens. But, somehow, the crisis puts him more at ease, the adrenaline shock hits his system, but the familiarity of it all settles him. His hand reaches behind himself, to the small of his back, on instinct, but even the familiar weight that should be there is gone.
As is all the rest of the weight. What-? Togusa begins to float, and immediately flails, reaching out towards a wall. Oh boy. This isn't quite like skydiving, not quite like swimming. Both of those feel like he'd have more control over himself.
Togusa is trying to fan his arms, or kick his legs like a swim stroke to get to a wall, but he is incredibly ungraceful. It is still his first time on one of these.
Arrival
Re: Arrival
Shepherd Book | Firefly
Accepting this ticket was, now, the second most impulsive thing Shepherd Book has ever done. Had it only been hours? Less than a day, surely, since he'd stormed from the Serenity. Somehow, he always knew it would end that way. Him and Mal. At least he'd tried.
And so, on to another ship, one that is in many ways the precise opposite of the Serenity. Opulence and comfort and cash ooze from every bulkhead. Despite the staff's efforts to welcome everyone, there is a rising discomfort growing up the Shepherd's spine. It's too reminiscent of the Inner Worlds of the Verse.
Book is trying to find a quiet space, as soon as the welcome niceties are done with. Too bad it is very easy to run into another passenger when there are so many around.
Defying Gravity:
Perhaps Book spoke too soon when he called this ship the Serenity's opposite. It's the first thought unbidden to his head when the alarms sound and the gravity fails. He can't stop himself from a dry laugh.
Book is one of those who pulls himself towards the lobby, one practiced tug at a time. He's handled himself in zero-g before, clinging to a wall, any kind of hand-hold that he can find.
When an order is barked at him, it turns out old habits do truly die hard, and Book snaps to. The transport tubes. God, are there people off the ship? "Of course!"
A silent prayer passes over his mind as he floats towards one of the controls. Unfamiliar, he needs a moment to figure them out. "I need a hand here!"

Rose Tyler | Doctor Who | OTA
"May I have this dance?" Rose offers a deep curtsy, and a somewhat shy grin, given that she was the one asking. Her full length evening gown was black, which the TARDIS didn't seem to view as her color, but she liked the way it made her seem a little bit taller than she actually was, even without heels. Granted, how long had it been since she danced in high heels and not trainers? Yeah, that'd be a never. At the club, it was always trainers, and with the Doctor, even when she did have time period shoes, they were usually good for running in, unless he'd added a heavy amount of gadgetry to the bottoms. Still, she was confident, that so long as monsters didn't attack, or the usual reasons for running for your life didn't happen, she could get away with heels just for the night.
This was the kind of elegance she'd once wished for, especially to show her parents. Things changed.
Zero Gravity
"Oi!" Rose did her best to head towards the screaming people, especially the pool area, in case the lifeguards needed help. "Don't panic! We've still got oxygen, so long as you don't use it all up!" If that was meant to be a joke, it probably wasn't going to get quite the reaction of breaking up tensions, but Rose would settle for simply shocking people into silence for now. "Stay calm, yeah? Grab blankets, start creating cushion fortresses against the furniture. Some ship, yeah?" she teased with a lopsided grin, still on the move, "It's not even bolted down proper!"
Captain's Announcement:
"Right yeah," Rose snarked to no one in particular. "I'm sure America won't notice a buncha hostile aliens in their midst. Regular old day innit?" A snort. "Howdy pardner?" Her accent will give her away before anyone else ever does, it's painfully bad.

Diego Hargreeves | The Umbrella Academy
Honestly this whole 'Nigerian Princess' thing sounds fake. The only reason he came on board is because the world's supposedly ending soon anyway. Why not take a chance on one last hurrah? It's not like he has much more to lose, and besides, they'll take him back to 6.01pm the day he left, right?
He's not sure what he was expecting, but this grand cruiseship in space sure as hell wasn't it.
Still dressed in his tactical suit, Diego makes his way around the ship's main deck after checking out his room. He hasn't yet figured out that there's a map in his watch thing so he's just nosying around making abrupt turns around blind corners until he walks straight into someone just outside one of the restaurants.
"Shit- sorry."

Raidou Kuzunoha XIV | Devil Summoner
[The young man that has been seated at your table by himself hasn't eaten much of this enormous dinner. He stands out a bit thanks to his uniform and the fact that he's apparently brought a katana with him to the table. He's been almost totally silent, though, occupied with his watch. Teenagers, right? Raidou is fascinated with this new toy, not having anything like it back home. It has a bit of a learning curve for him, and he makes some quiet, frustrated noises as the watch makes some beeping noises at him. Maybe you can help the 1920s kid out?]
[II - Defying Gravity]
[Raidou's head is one of the many confused ones that pokes out from an open room door. It took some time for him to get his hat, though, which he's holding to his head with one hand. He frowns has he tries to hold onto the door frame to keep from floating away. Noticing he's not the only one out here, he floats into the hallway to speak to people nearby.]
Do you know what happened? Or what that noise was?

Faye Valentine | Cowboy Bebop
[ Given Faye's usual distrusting demeanor, winning a lottery that presented an opportunity for her to experience some sort of lavish ship-resort, complete with an assortment of paid services and a room all to herself, meant she carried around some doubts at first -- and questions. Who the hell was this Nigerian princess and was she running this show? How in the universe would she possibly be visiting feudal Japan?? Was time-traveling a thing now? Or was this really just an elaborate trick for debt collectors to find her?! ... That last question may very well be a bit asinine, and the doubts are soon stifled after her complimentary bottle of champagne has been popped open and a few swigs are taken. She doesn't notice the device sitting next to it right away, but once she does, mid-chug, she'll pick it up and study it a moment. Doesn't appear to be of technology she wasn't already used to. If anything, it looked like an ordinary watch.
Unsuspecting, she puts it on and marvels at how nice it looks on her wrist. But then-- ow! What the hell? Did it just pinch her?? The sting lasts but a second and she's about to take it off when she hears the chatter of people outside her door. Perhaps it was in due time she scoped this place out. Ask around about what this all was, truly.
When she steps outside her corridor and makes her way to the main deck, her need to get answers is momentarily shoved aside when her eyes sweep across the floor and she observes a few of the facilities. A night club, a spa... is that a casino? That thrills her. However, the bar is the first to really pique her interest. The champagne just wasn't doing it for her. She needed something heavier to fully adjust and relax into this situation.
She spots an empty seat beside someone at the end of the bar and approaches cautiously albeit confidently. She doesn't know anyone here, therefore, she'll play it safe by fluffing up her personality a little. Her voice helps carry her smile; sweet and cordial. ]
Is this seat taken?
☆ WELCOME DINNER
[ Finding that she's adjusted to everything better than expected, she's managed to find her way back to her room the night before, even amid her drunken stupor. Awakening when the tailor drops off the three boxes, it takes her a lot longer to fully process what time it was, or whether or not she had been dreaming this entire time. Once determined that this was all, in fact, very much still real, she stares at the custom-fitted apparel before her and proceeds to pull out the article of clothing meant for this little dinner she's supposed to attend tonight. She'd almost forgotten.
One look-over of the dress and she was relieved to see that they had picked a style that wasn't too awful. Either way, did she have a choice? A black cocktail dress that hugged and accentuated her in all the right places. A bit classy if not a little plain. It'll work.
She smooths over any wrinkles in the mirror, twisting and turning to make sure her appearance was decorous. It takes her a bit longer to get ready, and by the time she's made it she'll be met with the faces of everyone else on board and feel a sudden surge of nervousness overcome her. She almost physically shrinks in her posture but makes her way over to a free seat anyway and does her best to appear collected. As much as she had preferred to sit by herself, her eyes will meet with whoever is seated at the nearest table, and she'll nod with a hesitant smile. ]
Hi. Hope you don't mind that I sit here. [ Again, she has no choice. ] My name's Faye.

Peter Quill ★ MCU
Now, any other day Peter would be happy to be on a fancy ship, abuse the hospitality and the free alcohol and enjoy himself. Any other day he wouldn't have just lost the woman he loved and his friend behind, and he wasn't a complete nervous wreck. The comm device already complained at Peter twice about his all too quick heartbeat, beeping loudly in protest. He had been very tempted to throw it away when it stung him but now he's refraining himself for doing anything too rash since he's already getting some odd looks from the staff because of the Quad Blasters strapped to his thighs.
Ignoring those, Peter checks everywhere on the facility for a familiar face, from the fancy restaurant to the gym, growing increasingly more frustrated when he sees no one. As he walks out of the Bespoke Tailors, his clothes are in a state of disarray. Trying to put on your shirt back in a rush and not looking where you are going as you walk can only end in disaster and he soon trips and bumps against another of the passengers.
"Oh, shit, my bad..."
WELCOME DINNER
Peter even gets to the restaurant early and dressed up, if only so he can find a private table to himself and drown his sorrows in peace. If someone has the bad luck to get to the dinner late and has to sit next to him, well, Peter will push the fancy food towards them, content to keep drinking his whiskey. Or what he thinks it's whiskey. It's probably nonlethal for humans, he's almost sure
"You can have it all, I'm not very hungry."

james t. kirk ( star trek aos )
It's not an away mission per se-- well, certainly not a standard away mission, that's for sure. Jim is a whole lot more leisurely in the way he approaches it, wearing more casual clothes rather than his uniform as he looks around, poking his head into various spots all over the ship.
He's particularly fascinated by the chapel, but it's the bars where he spends the most time. Not just because he wants to meet new people and socialize, because he does, but also because it's the perfect spot to watch all kinds of different people. Whether it's getting a drink at the Cadenza, reading a few books at the Library Café, or walking around the dance floor at the nightclub Starlight and wondering whether to join in or not, he can be found (and easily approached) just about anywhere. ]
II ▹ MINGLE
He helps himself to a variety of food, and he might openly ask someone near him about whatever it is they're eating. ] Never seen anything like it, but it looks good.
[ He feels stuffed full by the time the music starts playing. But it's a fairly slow song, and Jim sees no reason why they shouldn't all make the most of tonight, so he turns to the person nearest and asks, friendly and a little playful. ] May I have this dance?
III ▹ EVENT
He does know how to move in them a little better than most people would, though. He's one of the first to push himself out of his room, after he manages to wiggle on a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt, and he starts floating down the hallway, asking anyone he can find if they know what's going on.
It's when he recognizes what look like engineers and mechanics stomping down the hallways. Perking up, he reaches out, but they walk past him before he manages to get a decent grip on their arm. ]
Hey! [ He calls out, but at the lack of an answer, he just grabs onto the walls and pushes himself further down the hallway, using the momentum to move faster. He's intent on catching up to them, or following them to wherever they're going... so intent he might not even notice when someone else is floating out of their own room and headed right into him. ]

Percy Jackson | Riordan mythoverse
Percy wants to believe that this is what they claim it is, but all his years have taught him to never trust something this welcoming. He checks out all the facilities on the ship. He has to pause by the pool entrance and lets out a moan seeing it's closed.
"Great. Best source of water on this ship and I can't get to it." Well, he probably could, but he didn't want to alarm any of the other people by having water leaking everywhere. He lets out a sigh and reluctantly moves on.
His only reaction to the casino is a decisive "Nope". He's not sure which of the restaurants to trust, but the screen walls in Umami are at least cool to watch. Percy makes himself comfortable there.
2. Welcome Dinner
Percy's going to stand out a bit just from the fact that he didn't really dress up that successfully. Sure he got on all the outfits and he put on the tie, but it isn't on straight and his hair is pretty wild. Besides, even in nice clothes Percy has the sort of air about him that might alert adults that he's Trouble.
But he'll make the best of the dinner, even as he tucks away a portion of his meals onto a napkin.
3. Captain's Announcement
[Percy honestly tries to listen, but after the first few technobabble words, he completely lost track of what was going on. At the end of the announcement, he turns to the nearest person]
Uh, okay, I didn't actually understand most of that, but did he say we're going to the Wild West? Like cowboys?

Agent North Dakota | Red vs. Blue
North isn't as happy to be here as one might suppose. The transport to get on the ship arrived so quickly that he was never able to let South know where he was going or why. He continued to try to message her as the transport lifted off, but he fell asleep so quickly that he has no idea if she received the message.
Nevertheless, he makes the most of it, changing into the provided clothing once it arrives and exploring the ship. Going swimming is a big priority—he doesn't know the last time he was able to do that. Definitely back before he became a Freelancer.
One thing about North would serve to pique the curiosity of anyone who encounters him—he's followed around by a projected hologram that he talks to in soothing, friendly tones. The hologram appears to be a young person in Freelancer armor, the proportions slightly changed to suit his body type. He rests at the edge of the pool, then, discoursing with the projection.
"Oh, of course it's worrying me not to be able to get a hold of South," he says. "But she's a big girl. She'll be all right."
ii. welcome dinner —
Agent North cleans up well, no matter what his past life as a paramilitary member might have been like. He takes a seat at a table near the middle of the dining room and nods at anyone who might already have been seated there.
"Hope you don't mind if I join you," he says.
Everything is exquisitely appointed, and the food is delicious. North enjoys a glass of wine at the end of the meal, and once he's finished he decides to arise, seeking a dance partner anywhere on the floor.
"Would you like to dance?" he asks once he finds someone who seems to be seeking a dance partner themselves.
iii. gravity, announcement —
North is in the gym when the accident happens. He listens to the announcement from the communicator with grim resolve, knowing that those like him who are used to dealing with disaster will need to step up as needed to help the others. He wishes he had been in his armor when this had happened, so he would have access to his grav boots, but at least he has his wits about him.
He's able to push off the floating equipment well enough to make his way to the corridor, and there he keeps his ears and eyes out for others who need help.
Once the announcement goes out, some three quarters of an hour later, he's ready to assist anyone who needs it.
iv. wildcard —
(( Have anything else you'd like to do with North? Hit me up and we'll thread it out! ))
Luther Hargreeves | The Umbrella Academy
All of this sounds so bogus, but the world's ending anyway, and apparently he'd wasted years upon years of being loyal to a father who left him stranded on the moon for no reason. He'd never had friends. He'd never gotten to get out and see the world. No, he-- needed this.
He deserved it, right?
Or maybe that's the wrong word. He feels guilty, shirking his responsibilities and going on a cruise. He has siblings back home who need him. He has a world to save. Or attempt to save. Something.
Yet here he is.
He's been to space before, but he hadn't expected a cruise ship. Not like this. He can't say he's not impressed. He checks out his room first, grabs his watch, and then heads out. He doesn't feel any less out of place, really. He still feels like he stands out as he walks through the ship, but... Luther can be found eyeing the pool. Not that he'd ever get into it. Or go for a massage.
Eventually, he winds up at one of the restaurants or just wandering around aimlessly. Part of him doesn't really want to head off to rest yet. Not yet. Occasionally, he might give a look to anyone who's near and seems in the mood to talk. "Can you believe all of this?"
Welcome Dinner;
Luther's a bit dubious on the clothes, if only because he needs to keep certain things covered up and he doesn't think just any tailor would take this into account. Surprisingly though, the suit he's given for dinner tonight is pretty nice. Mostly nice? It doesn't cover as much as he's used to, but it covers enough that he's not entirely self-conscious when he walks in.
He is a bit when he realizes all the tables are full up at the moment. Nothing like having to approach someone and awkwardly ask, "Can I sit here?"
But somehow he'll get through it.
Later on, he can probably be seen tapping his foot along with the beat of some music, seemingly enjoying himself.
Defying Gravity;
Okay, well-- that was something he didn't expect. Maybe he should have, but he hadn't. The gravity fails and Luther finds his weight lifting off the ground effortlessly, leaving him to flail awkwardly for a moment as he tries to get his bearings.
"Whoa!" Well, he can handle it. He tries to brace against the walls and anything else as well as he can, looking around for anyone else who might be in a similar predicament. "Hey, you can grab on to me if you need to!"
network;
So can everybody hear me on this thing?
